Picking up from where we left off!

Hi there! For the last two years we have not been able to meet or organize conferences. Budget woes affected most of the higher education related organizations in Louisiana. That, however, has not affected the mission that we are tasked with. We have also noticed that the  LAPPA website at the current location was not accurate. To address these and other facility related the following LAPPA officers met at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge on 8/20/2010

The group discussed following items

• Next LAPPA meeting and location
• Website management
• Update list of LAPPA officers
• LAPPA charter development

Details about each of these items will be posted soon. Highlights are

• Next meeting will be hosted at Grambling University
• Website will be managed by Sai Pinnepalli at LSU
• With the departure of some of the members from their current jobs, vacancies need to be addressed
• LAPPA will consult with APAA/SRAPPA and finalize the charter
